Rich Hill Solid In Mets Debut
Rich Hill made his team debut Sunday, going five innings and giving up three runs on five hits and two walks with one strikeout. His line might have been a bit better, but reliever Seth Lugo allowed all three of his inherited runners to come around to score when he took over for Hill with the bases loaded in the top of the sixth. Hill may not go deep into games, with just one outing of at least six innings since May 31, but he posts solid enough ratios (3.95 ERA and 1.18 WHIP) and strikeout totals (92 in 100 1/3 innings) to be a viable streaming option in fantasy leagues.
