Veteran offensive lineman Jared Veldheer said on Thursday that he plans to retire from the NFL after he was suspended for six games by the league due to a Clomid prescription. The 33-year-old said he was taking the medication because of "abnormally low" testosterone, which he suggested was "caused from pituitary damage suffered from repeated blows to the head." Veldheer has retired before, but he came out of retirement in 2019 to join the Green Bay Packers. Green Bay signed him off the Indianapolis Colts practice squad for the playoffs last season. Veldheer was a third-round pick by the Oakland Raiders out of Hillsdale College in 2010. He played in 121 regular season games (114 starts) for the Raiders, Arizona Cardinals, Denver Broncos, Packers and Colts.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
