DraftKings CBB DFS Lineup Picks for 4/3/21 - Daily Fantasy College Basketball Advice

CBB DFS lineup picks DraftKings NCAA daily college fantasy basketball

Mike Marteny offers his DraftKings daily fantasy college basketball sleepers for 4/3/21. His CBB DFS lineup picks and sleepers will help you win on DraftKings.

The chaos of the NCAA Basketball tournament is over. Well, almost. UCLA crashed the Final Four party. This is the last time we have a classic college basketball slate on DraftKings. I'll still have a showdown writeup for Monday's championship game before I sign off for the college basketball season. There's still some money to be won before we charge full speed ahead into baseball!

As expected, Gonzaga is a big favorite (two touchdowns), but the implied total is only 145.5. That's low for a Gonzaga game. UCLA played Michigan's game, but they are going to need to play faster here. Not only that, but they need someone to step up offensively besides Juzang. He has carried them this far, but they need more than one weapon against this team. Houston is a five-point dog to Baylor, but the line is much lower at 134.5. When you think about it though, these lines aren't that far off when you take the spreads into consideration.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy college basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 4/3/21. I’ll be providing multiple player suggestions for players at guard and forward, aiming to highlight one option apiece at the high, middle, and lower end of the salary scale. Good luck, RotoBallers.

DraftKings CBB DFS Guards

Dejon Jarreau, Houston ($7,100)

We are to the point where we can't really pick and choose the matchups. We just have to pick the talent to still come through despite the matchup. Jarreau has played most this tournament on a hip that is less than 100 percent and still put up 99.75 DraftKings points in the three games since he was injured against Cleveland State. It's hard to argue against Jarreau being Houston's best player at this point. Jarreau still isn't shooting that great from the field, but he is contributing literally everywhere else. Guys like Jarreau are the ones that can still have good DFS games against Baylor.

Davion Mitchell, Baylor ($6,400)

This is too cheap for a guy like Mitchell. He has still been Baylor's most consistent player throughout this tournament run. Mitchell has 114.25 DraftKings points in the three games and still had a solid stat line in the slog against Villanova. There are more offensively gifted players on this team and some with higher ceilings, but Mitchell's floor is by far the best. This may be a game against Houston where the floor is more important than the ceiling since I doubt anyone will have a ceiling game at this stage of the tournament. There is one exception, but we'll get to that later.

Johnny Juzang, UCLA ($6,300)

If you're wondering why UCLA is still playing, Juzang's shooting has been a big reason why. Juzang has 151 DraftKings points in their five-game tournament run. Juzang is 42-88 from the floor in that span. Those numbers were drug down by his struggles against Alabama. Gonzaga is going to make life difficult for Juzang, but I don't mind riding the hot hand again, especially when he isn't priced like it.

Also consider: Jalen Suggs, Gonzaga ($7,500); Marcus Sasser, Houston ($6,000); Tyger Campbell, UCLA ($4,900); Adam Flagler, Baylor ($4,700)

DraftKings CBB DFS Forwards

Drew Timme, Gonzaga ($8,100)

There hasn't been one team in this tournament that can stop Timme yet. UCLA wont be the first. The Bruins are much better defending the perimeter, but pushing everything inside against Gonzaga is going to backfire on them. Timme has taken over come tournament time with his usage rate topping 30 in each of the last three games. If the Bulldogs are going to finally cut down the nets, it's going to be Timme's fault. I like Cody Riley and how he plays defense, but I don't see him being much of a detriment here, especially if he can't stay out of foul trouble.

Corey Kispert, Gonzaga ($6,800)

As good as Timme has been, Kispert has been the more consistent of the two. That has been the case most of the season. Kispert doesn't have anywhere close to the upside of Timme, so I wouldn't run him as a substitute. He's more of a strong complimentary piece. Funds will get tight if you run both Timme and Kispert, but finding decent value to go with them could be the key to winning this slate.

Fabian White, Houston ($4,500)

White is a high-energy guy off the Houston bench. He doesn't often play more than 20 minutes, so the ceiling is rather low. Still, if you want to fit a bunch of stars in the lineup, White is a pathway to that. He has hit the 20's a few times in the last ten games, and in a game where offense could be hard to come by, his rebounding total should be high enough for him to get around 4x value. That might be high enough for a takedown on a two-game slate.

Also consider: Joel Ayayi, Gonzaga ($6,100); Justin Gorham, Houston ($5,700); Mark Mayer, Baylor ($5,500); Anton Watson, Gonzaga ($4,300)
