The Detroit Lions are finalizing a deal to acquire veteran defensive lineman Michael Brockers from the Los Angeles Rams on Tuesday night, according to sources. The Rams had previously asked Brockers to adjust his contract to help create more salary cap space for the 2021 season, but the two sides couldn't come to an agreement. The 30-year-old was the 14th overall pick in the first round out of LSU in 2012 by the then-St. Louis Rams. He's spend all nine of his NFL seasons playing for the Rams, recording 395 combined tackles (48 for loss), 62 QB hits, nine passes defensed, two forced fumbles, one fumble recovery and 28 sacks in 138 career games (136 starts). In 15 starts in 2020, Brockers had 51 combined tackles (five for loss), 10 QB hits and five sacks.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
