The Houston Astros agreed to a $4 million deal with Cuban outfielder Pedro Leon, the seventh-ranked international prospect per MLB Pipeline, on Friday, according to industry sources. Leon has a short and compact swing, doesn't swing and miss often and displays power potential to all fields. He's also a plus runner with base-stealing potential. Leon has a strong and accurate arm on defense and has the tools to remain in center field in the long term. Leon hit .371 with 15 home runs, a 1.220 OPS and seven stolen bases in 33 games in Cuba back in 2018 in the nation's top professional league. Leon defected from Cuba in 2019.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
