Giants wide receiver (WR) Sterling Shepard is a fantasy football waiver wire pickup to target as a free agent addition for Week 12 of the 2020 NFL season.

ANALYSIS: As is always the case, players coming off a bye week are always forgotten by fantasy GMs. Sigh... Enter Sterling Shepard, great New York Giant. Well, maybe not that great, but good enough as to have him rostered in more than half of Yahoo! leagues, for sure. Luckily, that's not the case with Shepard's rostership sitting at just 45%, thus making it more probable than not to find him in your WW waiting for you to getting him.
Shepard has not looked back since returning from injury in Week 7. While his fantasy points have gone down on a weekly basis, he has yet to fall below the 10 PPR-point barrier. Shepard is, in fact, one of only 18 WRs to have scored at least 55 PPR points in four games or fewer since Week 7.
QB Daniel Jones has targeted Shepard at least 6 times in the last four games, and Shepard has caught 26 of his 32 targets (81.2%) for 219 yards and a score. The wideout is the most sought-after player by Jones, has played more than 70% of the team's offensive snaps in every game he's completed, and never logged fewer than 46 snaps played in a single game.
The best of all is the Giants ROS schedule. They face the 24th, 32nd, 26th, and 23rd-best defenses against fantasy wide receivers leading up to Championship Sunday. You can forget about Shepard in W16 (the Ravens rank 5th-best against WRs) but before that, the next four games should be cupcakes for Shepard to eat whole. Shepard is a lock to finish as WR3 with high chances of ending as a WR2 weekly for the next month.
