Melvin Gordon III Could Be Leaned On More
Melvin Gordon III hasn't found the end zone since Week 7 and has seen single-digit carries in two of the last three games. The team's backfield has been a mess since both Gordon and Phillip Lindsay have been in the fold, although Gordon continues to be the 1A to Lindsay's 1B. Gordon has also been the favorite in the passing game, although he's seen only three targets the last two weeks. The Broncos offense has been extremely inconsistent under quarterback Drew Lock (ribs), who is now questionable to play against Miami in Week 11. Even if Lock plays through his injury, Gordon could see a heavier workload as Denver looks to avoid making Lock throw the ball 40-plus times. Miami has been a middle-of-the-pack defense, making Gordon a low-end RB2/high-end RB3 flex.
