Nick Castellanos Won't Play Saturday
4 years agoCincinnati Reds manager David Bell said that outfielder Nick Castellanos (back) "is fine," but he won't play in the team's intrasquad on Saturday. Castellanos is "a little sore" and is expected to play on Sunday. He was hit by a pitch in his upper back on Friday and suffered something similar to a stinger. The Reds aren't concerned, though, and Castellanos should be good for Opening Day next week. The 28-year-old's fantasy stock is on the rise heading into his first season with the Reds after he slashed .289/.337/.525 with 27 home runs, 73 RBI and 100 runs with the Cubs and Tigers in 2019. He will play every day in Cincy and is a top-25 fantasy outfielder with a current ADP of 87.
