The Colorado Rockies agreed to terms with University of South Carolina switch-hitting catcher Luke Leisenring following the conclusion of the 2020 MLB draft last week. Due to the shortened draft this year, all 30 teams may sign an unlimited number of high school and college players who went undrafted for a maximum of $20,000 each. A Colorado native, Leisenring grew up watching the Rockies and played for the Rockies Scout Team from 2015-17. He's 6-foot-4 and around 205 pounds with pull power from both sides of the plate. Leisenring hit .297 with six home runs, 11 doubles, two triples and 29 RBI as a sophomore in 2019.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
