The Detroit Lions agreed to a three-year, $30 million deal with linebacker Jamie Collins on Monday, according to a source. The deal includes $18 million in guarantees and will reunite him with head coach Matt Patricia, who was his defensive coordinator with the Patriots. The 30-year-old linebacker had a career-high seven sacks in 2019 and also recorded 81 tackles (58 solo), three interceptions (one for a touchdown), seven passes defensed, three forced fumbles and one fumble recovery in 16 games (15 starts). He should bring a productive and veteran presence to Detroit's defense and should be familiar in Patricia's system. He'll have streaming appeal in IDP leagues.--Keith HernandezRead More News
