The New England Patriots picked up the 2020 option for cornerback Jason McCourty on Thursday, according to a source. McCourty started 10 of 12 games in 2019 and had another very successful season in New England's secondary. He'll carry a salary cap hit of $5.5 million this year. The 32-year-old was in his second year with the Patriots last season, and he totaled 40 tackles (31 solo) and one interception in his 12 games. Bringing him back gives the team some more leverage in their attempt to re-sign his brother, Devin McCourty.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
