The Cleveland Browns released veteran linebacker Christian Kirksey on Tuesday. The team had been trying to restructure his deal, which called for him to earn $7.75 million in 2020. Apparently the two sides could not come to an agreement, so the six-year linebacker will be free to sign with another team. Kirksey was regarded as a team leader but he struggled to stay on the field the past two seasons, missing 23 of 36 possible games. In all, Kirksey notched 484 tackles, 11.5 sacks, and two interceptions in his Cleveland career.--Matt T - RotoBaller
