Toronto Maple Leafs center Auston Matthews found the back of the net for his 44th goal in Thursday's 5-3 victory against the Panthers. Matthews added an assist to record his 24th multi-point performance of the season. The 22-year-old scored late in the opening period to tie the game at three goals apiece, and with that goal the fourth-year forward trails only Bruins forward David Pastrnak for the NHL-lead in goals scored.
