Jean-Gabriel Pageau scored two goals on Monday night to help the Ottawa Senators defeat the Buffalo Sabres by a score of 3-1. The sniping center now has 18 goals and 28 points in 38 games. Pageau is one goal away from his career-high of 19, which was set in 82 games during the 2015-16 season. He has five points in his last three games and has a shot at a 50-point season. He’s also been a valuable fantasy contributor in hits (145) and shots (142). Connor Brown had two assists in Monday night’s game and is on pace for a career-high in points. Veteran goaltender Craig Anderson was excellent and he allowed just one goal while making 43 saves.
