Brandin Cooks In Concussion Protocol
Brandin Cooks (concussion) has been placed in the league's concussion protocol, according to head coach Sean McVay. McVay did say that Cooks has been asymptomatic since suffering the head injury in the Thursday night loss. The 26-year-old suffered the injury on his only catch (a 29-yarder) late in the game. He also had a 27-yard rush. Cooks has extra time to heal up before Week 6, but he might still be questionable for that affair. If he misses any time, Robert Woods and Cooper Kupp will both have WR1 upside, while Josh Reynolds would be forced into three-wide sets.
