Baltimore Ravens backup quarterback Robert Griffin III (thumb) suffered a hairline fracture to his right thumb when he banged it on the helmet of outside linebacker Tim Williams during practice on Saturday. RG3 went for an X-ray after practice, and the tests revealed the damage. He is expected to be sidelined four to eight weeks, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter. The team is expected to sign another quarterback, as they have only starter Lamar Jackson and sixth-round draft pick Trace McSorley in camp in addition to RG3.
