Travis Shaw Gets The Start At First Base

Milwaukee Brewers utility man Travis Shaw is getting a rare start at first base for Friday's game against the Cubs. Shaw had just been recalled from AAA the night before after a terrible start to the 2019 season. There has been rumors that the Brewers may trade Jesus Aguilar, which would open up more playing time for Shaw, but he would still be competing for at-bats with Eric Thames, Keston Hiura, and Mike Moustakas. Shaw seems to be the odd man out with the Brewers and a bust for the 2019 season. It's safe to leave him on waivers.
