Pablo Sandoval Lifted Due To Knee Inflammation
Pablo Sandoval (knee) was lifted late in Monday's game against the Los Angeles Dodgers due to knee inflammation. He was unable to swing right-handed in the game, so manager Bruce Bochy sent Evan Longoria to the dish in a pinch-hitting situation and he ended up going 1-for-2 with a double and three RBI in the 3-2 victory. Panda was hitless in two at-bats before departing in the sixth inning, and he is a question mark heading into Tuesday's battle.
