James Paxton Is Sublime In No-Decision

While he wouldn't emerge with a victory Sunday afternoon in the Bronx, New York Yankees left-hander James Paxton had a second consecutive masterful performance. The 30-year-old, coming off a dominant start against the Red Sox, pitched six shutout innings, allowing three hits, one of which came as he started the seventh inning. Paxton also struck out 12 for the second consecutive time. While he exited with a five-run lead, his bullpen shockingly allowed six runs in the eighth, wiping out his victory. His record remains 2-2, while his ERA is now down to 3.10 on the year.
