Toronto Maple Leafs center Nazem Kadri has been suspended for the remainder of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals against the Boston Bruins due to his cross-checking incident in Game 2, the National Hockey League's Player Safety said on Monday. With Kadri out, forward William Nylander shifted from a winger position to center to fill the void on the third line behind pivots Auston Matthews and John Tavares. It appears that if the Leafs were to advance to the second round, Kadri would once again be available, as no finite number of games was announced, just the "remainder of the first round."--Daniel Dobish
