Los Angeles Kings defenseman Kurtis MacDermid (upper body) left Monday's game against the Calgary Flames after a hard collision with forward Sam Bennett, and both players were forced out for the remainder of the game. Head coach Willie Desjardins said MacDermid will not travel to Phoenix for Tuesday's game. "I'm not quite sure (about the severity of the injury), I just know that it's upper-body," Desjardins said. It's likely MacDermid is done for the season as a result. When healthy he is best used by fantasy owners in deeper pools heavily rewarding hits and blocked shots.--Daniel Dobish
