Stewart-Haas Racing's Daniel Suarez rounded out the top 10 in Sunday's STP 500 from Martinsville Speedway. He started on Row 5 in the ninth position and didn't slip much at all, although he also failed to lead a lap so many other drivers on a day dominated by Brad Keselowski. Suarez debuted in the spring race in 2017 with a 32nd-place finish, then was 15th in the fall '17 race. In 2018 he was 18th and ninth, and now 10th in this one. It appears he has figured out the Virginia short track after a bit of an early learning curve which happens with young drivers at Martinsville.--Daniel Dobish
