Stewart-Haas Racing's Aric Almirola completed his solid weekend showing at Martinsville Speedway on Sunday, posting a ninth-place finish in the STP 500. It was Almirola's first top-10 finish since the spring race in 2014 when he ended up eighth. Perhaps his DFS owners were a little disappointed since he started on the outside of Row 1, yet still failed to record a lap led while tumbling seven spots. Next up is a trip to Texas where he has just two top-10s and eight top-20s with no laps led in 16 career starts with a 19.8 Average-Finish Position.--Daniel Dobish
