St. Louis Blues right-winger Vladimir Tarasenko deposited a first-period goal in his team's eventual 5-1 defeat of the Anaheim Ducks on Wednesday night. The 27-year-old also added a plus-one rating, three shots on goal and two hits to his ledger in the victory. After a dreadful first three months of the season (22 points in 37 games), Tarasenko has turned it on since the calendar flipped to 2019 with ten points (six goals, four assists) in 11 contests. Considering his ridiculous talent level, it was probably only a matter of time for the Russian sniper to break out of his funk. His fantasy owners will need him to produce at over a point-per-game pace (34 points in his remaining 33 games) in order to at least match his output from last season. Tarasenko will be back in action next on February 2nd against the Blue Jackets.--Chase Davis - RotoBaller
