Winnipeg Jets left-winger Kyle Connor scored his team's only goal of the evening in a 5-1 loss to the Dallas Stars on Saturday. Connor's marker was his second in two games to open the season, the result of a picture-perfect shot to Ben Bishop's short side in the second period. The 21-year-old had an impressive rookie year in 2017-2018, registering 57 points (31 goals, 26 assists), a plus-eight rating and 192 shots on goal. Having earned his place on the Jets' dangerous top line with Blake Wheeler and Mark Scheifele, Connor is surely a candidate to surpass his rookie totals in year two. He'll take on the Kings at home on Tuesday.--Chase Davis - RotoBaller
