New York Giants defensive end Olivier Vernon (ankle) didn't practice again on Friday and is highly unlikely to play in Week 1 against the Jaguars. Vernon is a fast healer, but he is dealing with a high ankle sprain and probably won't suit up this weekend. You can rule him out for IDP leagues and look for other options. Vernon's absence is great news for Jacksonville quarterback Blake Bortles and their passing attack.--Keith Hernandez
