New York Jets rookie tight end Chris Herndon is receiving nothing but positive reviews early on in camp. After an ACL injury caused him to slip to the fourth round of this year's draft, Herndon has caught the eye of new Jets offensive coordinator Jeremy Bates with his pass-catching and blocking ability early on. As if receiving positive reviews from your offensive coordinator is not enough, newly-retired NFL great Jason Witten also praised the rookie tight end, noting his speed and size combined with his blocking ability, raising the expectations for Herndon.
