Hideki Matsuyama shot a four-over par at Carnoustie, missing the cut on the number. Matsuyama opened Thursday's round with a faulty four-over 75 but rallied during his round on Friday, putting himself at one-over par for the tournament with just one hole to play. The Japanese golfer appeared to have the weekend in sight, but disaster struck on the 18th hole. Matsuyama's tee shot landed in the hazard, and he was only able to muster a triple-bogey finish. The 16th-ranked golfer in the world has not had a good season in 2018, with most of his troubles stemming from injuries. He does, however, appear to be on his way back to being more consistent, but until that starts to show in his results, Matsuyama will make for a tricky player to trust in cash-game lineups. --Spencer Aguiar - RotoBallerRead More News
