Jordan Spieth Will Try to Defend Title at Carnoustie
Jordan Spieth isn't entering Carnoustie looking like the player who captured the title last season. In Spieth's previous six tournaments, he has failed to post a top-20 finish and has missed two of his last three cuts. However, like any world-class golfer, Spieth is always just inches away from flipping the switch and magically refinding his game. With that being said, the young American makes for a tough player to trust this weekend at the Open Championship. Spieth is unusable in cash-game lineups, but he does have some slight value as a contrarian GPP option in large field tournaments. You need to be aware, though, that Spieth still provides an enormous risk that may not be worth all the stress.
