Branden Grace Hangs On For Top 25 At U.S. Open
Branden Grace entered the final round of the U.S. Open only four shots off the lead, but the South African went the wrong way Sunday. Grace shot a 5-over 75 on a tough Shinnecock Hills course and fell to a final score of 12-over par for the tournament. The score left Grace in a tie for 25th place. Though the finish was very respectable, Grace had the opportunity to grab a much higher spot on the leaderboard. This marks the second top 25 in a major this year for the veteran. Grace is not in the field for this week's Travelers Championship. He will be a serious contender at the Open Championship next month.
