Pittsburgh Pirates outfielder Gregory Polanco went 0-for-4 with a walk on Friday against the St. Louis Cardinals, continuing his deep slump at the plate. Over his last eight games, Polanco is a measly 3-for-28 at the plate and is now batting just .213/.325/.432 on the season. While his walk totals are keeping his offensive production afloat overall, his lack of batting average and power is hurting fantasy owners who aren't in OBP leagues. With Starling Marte expected to return from the disabled list on Saturday, Polanco is a candidate to be benched to keep the hot Austin Meadows in the lineup. This is a situation worth monitoring for fantasy managers.--Matt Wilkes
