Colorado Rockies second baseman DJ LeMahieu (thumb) has been placed on the 10-day disabled list after suffering from a left thumb sprain in the game on Sunday against the Milwaukee Brewers. Pat Valaika has been called up in a corresponding move. This is now the second DL stint for LeMahieu, who just came off the disabled list on May 8 with a hamstring injury. While there is no timetable right now for his return, owners should put him on the disabled list until further notice. Vailaika and Daniel Castro figure to split playing time at the keystone in the meantime.--Caden
