Cleveland Plain Dealer beat reporter Mary Kay Cabot believes the Cleveland Browns will attempt to keep rookie quarterback Baker Mayfield on the bench for as long as possible in 2018. Cabot was asked when Mayfield would beat out incumbent starter Tyrod Taylor in her popular "Ask Mary Kay" column. In her response, she indicated that the Browns intend to stick with Taylor in 2018. She did go on to mention that the team could give Mayfield some playing time down the stretch if they are out of it, just to give him some experience. It sounds like Taylor should be the team's starter in 2018 as long as he plays reasonably well.--Matt Terelle
