Boston Bruins forward Riley Nash recorded two assists in the Bruins 6-4 come-from-behind win over the Carolina Hurricanes on Tuesday night. The 28-year-old center/right wing has been playing on Boston’s top line alongside forwards David Pastrnak and Brad Marchand due to Patrice Bergeron’s foot injury. Nash has exceeded expectations in his new role, contributing three goals and seven assists in the nine games since being promoted. With Bergeron not expected to be back in the Bruins lineup until at least March 19, Nash should see at least two more games on Boston’s best line and should continue to be productive through the end of the season.--Alex McKenzie
