It's Week Four and the days are definitely starting to heat up while the nights remain cool in many areas. Speaking of remaining cool, there are a lot of fantasy owners who are turning up their noses at many more-than-serviceable catchers on the waiver wire. Don't be snobs, guys. All of you can't have Buster Posey, Jonathan Lucroy, Salvador Perez and Brian McCann. Unless you're playing in four-team leagues, and that's just really limiting.

We present three catchers for one-catcher leagues and three for two-catcher leagues. Our cutoff is less than 50% ownership in Fleaflicker Leagues.

Week 4 Waiver Wire Catchers

Francisco Cervelli (PIT) 36% - Look. I'm reaching John-Cusack-in-"Say Anything" levels of stalking to convince you to take him off the waiver wires. Look outside: I'm holding up a boombox with Peter Gabriel's "In Your Eyes" blasting and I'm wearing a TAKE FRANCISCO T-shirt. He's hitting .313 with a OPS of .773 - which is not in Bryce Harper's league... but still. Take him and please don't call the cops on me for standing outside your window.

Welington Castillo (ARI) 28% - Castillo is hitting a pretty respectable .277 with six homers and .927 OPS, and is third among all catchers with 12 RBIs. Castillo's a strong candidate to break the 20-homer mark this season, which would break his career high of 19 from last season. The biggest challenge I have in recommending him on this waiver wire is to not add an extra 'l' to his first name.

Yasmani Grandal (LAD) 20% - This is the second week in a row that I'm sending up the Grandal flare. He's not doing so terrible after missing much of the first month of the season: .273 entering Wednesday's action. Pick him up. Don't make me bust out the sky-writing next time. Mainly because I can't fly a plane.

Yan Gomes (CLE) 22% -  Wow, this is the second catcher in a row on here with the initials "YG." That's quite possibly a record somewhere. Then again, I did sort of line them up like that deliberately. Anyways, Gomes may have a low batting average, but he's fourth among all catchers in RBIs with 11. Having him as your second catcher would help you tremendously.

Tucker Barnhart (CIN)  2%  - This is partly because I like the name "Tucker Barnhart." It's likely the doctor told Barnhart's mother in the delivery room: "This boy will grow up to be a catcher." It's just a shame that so few Fleaflicker owners know who he is because he's hitting .355 (outhitting another sleeper darling, Devin Mesoraco) and has a .770 OPS. Grab him as a second catcher.

Josh Phegley (OAK) 3% - What's not to like about a .368 start to April with a .821 OPS? Maybe it's because his last name sounds sort of like an insult. "That person looked REALLY good in the dark club but was Phegley when seen in the light." He won't look Phegley as your second catcher in either light or dark.
