Mike McCarthy a Finalist for Titans Head-Coaching Job?
Former Dallas Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy has interviewed twice in recent days for the Tennessee Titans' head coaching job -- once in late December in Green Bay, and then again on Friday and Saturday in Tennessee, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. The Titans fired former head coach Brian Callahan early on during the 2025 season, and the fact that they discussed the job with McCarthy before the regular season was over suggests that he's a finalist for the job despite taking the entire 2025 season off from coaching. The New York Giants were looking at McCarthy before they hired John Harbaugh, and the former Packers head coach is also drawing interest from the Pittsburgh Steelers. If McCarthy were to land in Tennessee, he'd be leading young quarterback Cameron Ward going into his sophomore season after a tough first NFL campaign.
