Week 13 Tight End Rankings Outlooks

Harold Fannin Jr., Cleveland Browns

Cleveland Browns rookie tight end Harold Fannin Jr. led the team with four catches (six targets) for 40 yards in a Week 12 win over the Las Vegas Raiders. After running just 48.5% of the team's routes in Week 11, his lowest in a game since Week 5, Fannin climbed back to 66.7% in Week 12 and paced the Cleveland passing attack in Shedeuer Sanders' first career start. The rookie tight end played a season-high 89.6% of snaps and continued to showcase his exceptional tackle-breaking ability, forcing 11 missed tackles in the game, which is the most by a tight end in a game this season.

Fannin mostly operates in a short area of the field to let him generate yards after the catch, and Sanders looked for him as a checkdown target frequently. The upside isn't super high for Fannin in a bad Cleveland offense, but he has been their most consistent pass catcher this season. He is worthy of a waiver add in 12-team leagues for fantasy managers looking for a tight end.

Colston Loveland, Chicago Bears

Chicago Bears rookie tight end Colston Loveland has emerged as a big piece of the offense over the last few weeks and had another positive performance in Week 12 against the Pittsburgh Steelers, recording four catches for 49 yards and a touchdown on five targets. Loveland is operating in close to a full-time role, playing at least 60% of the snaps in six straight games and totaling 23 receptions (29 targets) for 324 yards and three touchdowns. He has the third most PPR points in that span (73.4), only behind George Kittle and Trey McBride.

The 10th overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft is a dynamic receiving option and a matchup nightmare for opposing defenses at the tight end position. His role should only continue to expand in an explosive Bears offense. Loveland will rank as a borderline TE1 for Black Friday's matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Juwan Johnson, New Orleans Saints

New Orleans Saints tight end Juwan Johnson isn't the sexiest name by any means at his position, primarily because he resides in a Saints offense that is tied for last in the league with 15 points scored per game. However, Johnson has been the No. 2 option in the passing game in New Orleans in 2025 behind receiver Chris Olave, and he enters Week 13 action tied with Hunter Henry at 8.7 half-PPR fantasy points per contest. The 29-year-old had touchdown catches in back-to-back games going into the Week 12 loss to the Atlanta Falcons, including a season-high 92 receiving yards before the team's Week 11 bye.

On Sunday, Johnson had six catches (second-most in a game this year) on seven targets for 46 yards against Atlanta. His 67 targets through 11 games in 2025 tie him for seventh at the TE position. Johnson will be in a position as an intriguing low-end TE1 in fantasy in a plus matchup this weekend versus Miami. He is on pace for a career-best season.

Brenton Strange, Jacksonville Jaguars

In his first game since suffering a hip injury in Week 5 that landed him on Injured Reserve, Jacksonville Jaguars tight end Brenton Strange recorded five catches for 93 yards on five targets in his team's Week 12 win over the Arizona Cardinals. Strange's encouraging return was a continuation of what he had shown before getting hurt. Across the four full games he played before the hip injury, Strange had recorded 19 receptions for 182 yards on 23 targets.

Jacksonville could get wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr. (ankle) back from injury in Week 13 against the Tennessee Titans, which may impact the target share for Strange. However, Strange himself played just 71% of the Jaguars' offensive snaps in Week 12, which is a number that could rise as he gets fully healthy and re-integrated into the offense. Strange should be a waiver-wire target in fantasy leagues with 12 or more teams heading into Week 13.

Theo Johnson, New York Giants

New York Giants tight end Theo Johnson recorded three catches for 77 yards on three targets in his team's Week 12 overtime loss to the Detroit Lions. Across 12 games this season, the 24-year-old has hauled in 39 receptions for 427 yards and five touchdowns on 60 targets. While Johnson's numbers don't jump off the page, he's been extremely consistent. In his last six games, Johnson has recorded exactly three receptions five times. The Giants may be getting starting quarterback Jaxson Dart (concussion) back in Week 13 after he's missed each of their last two games due to a concussion.

Across Dart's last four games before getting injured, he targeted Johnson 25 times. He lacks explosive upside, but Johnson has proven to be a high-floor fantasy tight end option who should be a waiver-wire target in leagues with 12 or more teams heading into a Week 13 matchup against the New England Patriots.

Brock Wright, Detroit Lions

Detroit Lions tight end Brock Wright (neck) was listed as a non-participant during Monday's estimated practice. Wright played nearly 90 percent of the offensive snaps on Sunday, but appears to have picked up a neck injury along the way. His status is now uncertain heading into a short week with a matchup against the Green Bay Packers on Thanksgiving.

The Lions are already without Sam LaPorta (back), so losing Wright would really put them in a bad spot. The 26-year-old hauled in three of his four targets for 29 yards during Sunday's win over the New York Giants. Fantasy managers will need to check back for another update on his status.
