Browns Decline to Name Starting QB for Week 13 Following Week 12 Win
Cleveland Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski declined to name a starting quarterback for his team's Week 13 matchup against the San Francisco 49ers following their win over the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 12, per ESPN's Adam Schefter. With quarterback Dillon Gabriel (concussion) sidelined by a concussion, fellow rookie QB Shedeur Sanders made the first start of his NFL career against Las Vegas. The 23-year-old completed 11 of 20 pass attempts for 207 yards, one touchdown, and one interception. Across eight games (six starts) before getting injured, Gabriel had completed 59.2% of his pass attempts for 937 yards, seven touchdowns, and two interceptions. While Sanders didn't exactly light up the stat sheet against Las Vegas, it may be hard for Stefanski to go back to Gabriel after his team secured a rare win in Week 12. Neither Gabriel nor Sanders profiles as a fantasy-relevant quarterback in Week 13.
