Virginia's Chandler Morris Trending Toward Facing Duke on Saturday
Virginia quarterback Chandler Morris (head) is progressing through concussion protocol, and there is optimism he'll start against Duke on Saturday, according to ESPN's Pete Thamel. The Senior has led the Cavaliers to a fantastic 8-2 start and a top-25 College Football Playoff ranking, and his absence would significantly hurt their chances to collect a win on the road in Week 12. The former Oklahoma, TCU, and North Texas transfer has completed over 64% of his passing attempts for 2,088 yards, 15 touchdowns, and five interceptions in 10 games this season. He's added 214 yards and four touchdowns as a runner. If he cannot play, sophomore Daniel Kaelin would draw the start. Virginia has an outside chance of making the College Football Playoff, but it cannot afford a loss.
