Week 10 Tight End Rankings Outlooks
Dalton Kincaid, Buffalo Bills
Buffalo Bills tight end Dalton Kincaid is ready to shine again in a Week 10 matchup with the Miami Dolphins. Kincaid leads all Bills receivers with 411 yards despite missing one game. The Bills' tight end posted his second 100-yard game of the season last week, and faces a Dolphins defense that has given up the fifth-highest weekly score to tight ends this season.
In their Week 3 matchup, Kincaid found the endzone while hauling in five catches for 66 yards. Kincaid is a must-start this week in a juicy matchup during the early slate of games.
David Njoku, Cleveland Browns
Cleveland Browns tight end David Njoku will come out of his bye to take on the New York Jets on the road in Week 10. Njoku's bye came at a good time as he was dealing with a knee issue before Week 9. The veteran tight end appears to be fully over the issue as he is listed without an injury designation heading into his matchup against New York.
The Jets have been average against tight ends this season, allowing the 15th-most fantasy points per game to the position. The Browns could possibly be without Harold Fannin Jr. (hamstring), who was limited in practice on Friday with a hamstring injury. If Fannin doesn't end up playing, Njoku would be a solid mid-range TE1 in fantasy leagues. If Fannin ultimately suits up, Njoku checks in as more of a low-end TE1.
Oronde Gadsden, Los Angeles Chargers
Los Angeles Chargers rookie tight end Oronde Gadsden led the team in receiving yards (68) and tied for second in targets during last week's win over the Tennessee Titans. He has quickly become a trusted red-zone option for Justin Herbert, with seven red-zone targets over the past four games.
Heading into Week 10, Gadsden faces a favorable matchup against a Pittsburgh Steelers defense that has struggled against the tight end position, allowing the sixth-most yards and tying for the second-most touchdowns to the position this year.
Although the Steelers' defense contained the Indianapolis Colts' rookie tight end, Tyler Warren, last week, the overall trend favors Gadsden's usage and effectiveness. He is shaping up as a mid-range TE1 with clear upside. RotoBaller ranks him as TE4 this week and should be started in all formats.
