Fantasy Football Matchup Outlooks
Below are some fantasy football outlooks written by our NFL team here at RotoBaller, bringing you their fantasy football analysis and advice on which players to consider starting in Week 10:
Geno Smith, QB, Las Vegas Raiders
Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Geno Smith had arguably his best game in a Raiders uniform in his team's 30-29 overtime Week 9 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars. The 35-year-old completed 29 of 39 pass attempts for 284 yards, four touchdowns, and one interception.
Smith has mostly struggled so far this season. Heading into Week 9, he had thrown for 1,417 yards, seven touchdowns, and 10 interceptions across seven games played, leading to some questions about his job security in Las Vegas.
Geno Smith likely put those questions to bed for at least one week with his standout performance against Jacksonville. Still, Smith will remain tough for fantasy managers to trust in Week 10, as the Raiders have a difficult road matchup against their division rival, the Denver Broncos.
Bo Nix, QB, Denver Broncos
In a highly defensive game, Denver Broncos quarterback Bo Nix would lead the Broncos to another magical win, as they scored 11 unanswered points in the fourth quarter to defeat the Houston Texans 18-15 on the road.
The Texans' secondary was looming all over the field as Nix would only complete 18 of his 37 pass attempts for 173 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception. It was Nix's legs that led the team to a win on their final drive, where he rushed for 34 of his total 36 yards, setting kicker Wil Lutz up for the go-ahead field goal as time expired.
After defeating one of the toughest defenses in the league, Nix will look to keep the ball rolling in Week 10 against their division rival, the Las Vegas Raiders.
Courtland Sutton, WR, Denver Broncos
Denver Broncos wide receiver Courtland Sutton will look to resume his spot as the team's No. 1 wideout against the Las Vegas Raiders on Thursday night, despite having three different games where he caught one reception.
In Week 9 against the stingy Houston Texans, Sutton's lone catch ended up going for a 30-yard touchdown reception that jump-started the Denver offense towards their comeback win. Counterpart Troy Franklin has been the leader in targets for the past two weeks straight.
Still, it's arguable that Sutton's alpha spot in the offense isn't being threatened, as he just signed a four-year contract extension in July and continues to find the end zone. As RotoBaller's WR11 for the week, continue looking at Sutton with weekly scoring upside as a back-end WR1.
J.K. Dobbins, RB, Denver Broncos
Denver Broncos running back J.K. Dobbins has still been the king of the backfield through nine weeks from a touch standpoint, but he will strive to get back in the end zone for the first time since Week 5 as he faces the Las Vegas Raiders at home on Thursday night.
At first glance, averaging 77.2 rushing yards per game would sound like a no-brainer RB1 statistic. However, the presence of running back RJ Harvey has certainly been a threat to Dobbins' scoring opportunities. Harvey has now outscored Dobbins on the season with six total touchdowns to four, with five of them coming within the past three games.
With Dobbins' healthy floor, thanks to currently accounting for the fifth most rushing yards in the league, he is RotoBaller's 13th-ranked running back for Week 10.
Tre Tucker, WR, Las Vegas Raiders
The Las Vegas Raiders traded away Jakobi Meyers on Tuesday, and now wide receiver Tre Tucker is listed as the team's No. 1 pass-catcher. Obviously, tight end Brock Bowers is the No. 1 pass-catching option for the Raiders offense, but Meyers was averaging seven targets per game.
Those targets now have to go to somebody else, with Tucker and Bowers being the most likely candidates. Tucker has had some spike weeks in 2025, with a three-touchdown game back in Week 3, but has been more of a boom-or-bust WR3 option for fantasy managers with 427 receiving yards and four touchdowns through nine weeks.
With Meyers on the move and a clear path for more targets, Tucker could work his way into the low-end WR2 conversation moving forward, but certainly has to prove it first. Tyler Lockett, Dont'e Thornton, and Jack Bech are not much of a threat for targets at this time.
