Fantasy Football Trade Outlooks

Below are some fantasy football outlooks written by our NFL team here at RotoBaller, bringing you their fantasy football analysis and advice on which players to consider trading for or trading away heading into Week 6:

Breece Hall, RB, Jets
Trade Value: 63.7
ROS Rank: 26

Ahead of the team's Week 6 game in London against the Denver Broncos, New York Jets running back Breece Hall was asked about ongoing trade rumors and said, "I'm here, I wanna be here. I wanna be a New York Jet." Hall has been one of the lone bright spots for the 0-5 Jets so far this season, recording 501 yards from scrimmage on 83 total touches, although he's yet to find the end zone as either a rusher or receiver.

Hall is currently playing on the final year of his rookie contract in New York and remains without an extension from the team. Hall's contract status and the Jets' need to build for the future have fueled speculation that he could be moved ahead of the NFL's early-November trade deadline.

With running back Braelon Allen (knee) on Injured Reserve and uncertain to return this season, second-year back Isaiah Davis would likely take over the Jets' backfield if Hall were to get dealt. Davis has recorded 84 yards from scrimmage on just 12 total touches through five games this season.

Verdict: Target in trades, heavy volume expected as Jets featured running back

Zay Flowers, WR, Ravens
Trade Value: 45.8
ROS Rank: 47

Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Zay Flowers (shoulder) was limited in practice all week and is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the visiting Los Angeles Rams in Week 6, according to Brian Wacker of The Baltimore Sun. While it's possible that Flowers could end up suiting up this weekend against the Rams, the 25-year-old's weekly fantasy appeal has already taken a hit now that we know quarterback Lamar Jackson (hamstring) will miss a second straight game.

With backup QB Cooper Rush running the offense again on Sunday, Flowers and the rest of Baltimore's offensive skill players will not be as reliable in starting fantasy lineups. Flowers had a decent game in last week's loss to the Houston Texans, catching all five of his targets for 72 yards.

However, his fantasy ceiling and floor will be lowered in Week 6 if he's active. If the Ravens give Flowers a rest before their bye next week, DeAndre Hopkins and Rashod Bateman would be the team's top two pass-catchers.

Verdict: Buy low if you can, but not a must-have trade target

Travis Etienne Jr., RB, Jaguars
Trade Value: 45.7
ROS Rank: 48

Jacksonville Jaguars running back Travis Etienne Jr. dominated the San Francisco 49ers with 19 carries for 124 yards and a touchdown in his team's 26-21 Week 4 win. The 26-year-old is off to a terrific start to the 2025 season, with 65 carries for 394 yards and two touchdowns as a rusher, and six catches for 32 yards and a score as a receiver through his first four games.

Etienne Jr. is also dominating backfield touches in Jacksonville so far, as Jaguars backup running backs Bhayshul Tuten and LeQuint Allen Jr. combined for just six touches in Week 4. Etienne Jr. profiles as a must-start fantasy running back going into a Week 5 showdown with the Kansas City Chiefs.

Verdict: Buy if price is reasonable

TreVeyon Henderson, RB, Patriots
Trade Value: 27.3
ROS Rank: 82

New England Patriots running back TreVeyon Henderson continues to make a push for more opportunities within the offense, but he hasn't seen much change in his fantasy value after five weeks of the NFL season.

The Patriots continue to lean on Rhamondre Stevenson a little more than Henderson, even after the former lost three fumbles in three games. Stevenson touched the ball nine times on Sunday and was set up for two easy touchdowns despite averaging just two yards per carry.

On the other hand, Henderson had eight touches and averaged four yards per carry, but still played less than half of the offensive snaps. He'll need to carve out a much larger snap share or start getting involved as a primary target for Drake Maye in the passing game before he becomes a worthwhile fantasy starter. In the meantime, he should be stashed on the bench.

Verdict: Avoid in most trades, target as stash/depth piece if your roster is strong

Calvin Ridley, WR, Titans
Trade Value: 25
ROS Rank: 90

Tennessee Titans wide receiver Calvin Ridley finally was able to have success on the field during last week's game against the Arizona Cardinals. Ridley came into last week's game with three receptions for 57 yards over his last two games.

The 30-year-old came out of nowhere and posted a huge performance in the win. Ridley hauled in five of his 10 targets for 131 yards, but was held out of the endzone. The hope is that Ridley and rookie quarterback Cam Ward continue building chemistry each week. Ridley has a plus matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 6. Fantasy managers should feel fine with plugging in Ridley as a WR3.

Verdict: Avoid in most trades, limited upside on Titans offense

Who Should I Trade For?

Week 6 Trade Decisions. Today's focus is on specific players - Keenan Allen, Calvin Ridley, Stefon Diggs, Travis Etienne, TreVeyon Henderson, Breece Hall, JK Dobbins, Zay Flowers. These are some key fantasy football names heading into this week's matchups.

Using The Trade Values. This is a simple trade value tool, but very powerful. In our fantasy football trade value rankings above, you will see the Trade Value for each player. The higher the number, the higher the priority for targeting in trades. Players with a high trade value number are players that you should be targeting more in trades.

How It Works. Each week, our RotoBaller staff puts together their weekly fantasy football rankings, projections, and trade values based on their research. That information is the core data that is powering the decision-making in this trade value rankings.

How To Calculate Trades. Fantasy football managers will make 1-for-1 trades, or 2-for-3 trades, or 3-for-2 trades, or many other combinations. For each side of the deal, add the trade values together. Whichever side has a higher total number wins the trade. For example, if someone is offering you three players, add the trade values of those three players together. Does the value of those three players exceed the values of the player(s) you are trading away? If so then it's a good deal for you.
