Today's best MLB strikeout prop bets and pitcher K props for Tuesday, April 21. Keith Eyster's expert MLB player prop picks, betting odds, and advanced stat analysis to help you win.
There is another full MLB slate on tap with several talented arms on the bump. The games are headlined by a pair of the best rivalries in the sport, with the Yankees visiting the Red Sox and the Dodgers visiting the Giants.
Surprisingly, the only weather concerns come out west in California, with a slight chance of rain in San Francisco (Dodgers-Giants) and Los Angeles (Blue Jays-Angels). Neither game looks all that concerning, but any slight chance of a weather delay should always be top of mind when betting pitcher props.
In this article, I'll provide my favorite prop bets for MLB games on Tuesday, April 21, 2026. Elite K Upside: High-Confidence Strikeout Picks
Nolan McLean OVER 6.5 strikeouts (+105 NOVIG)
Mets rookie phenom Nolan McLean has been nothing short of brilliant through his first 12 MLB starts. He posted a 2.08 ERA and 30.3% strikeout rate down the stretch of last season, and has picked up right where he left off with a 2.28 ERA and 31.5% strikeout rate in 2026.
He is coming off arguably the most impressive start of his young career, holding the elite Dodgers offense to just one run across seven innings while striking out eight. He's now racked up at least eight strikeouts in three of his four starts this season.

Tonight, he gets a home matchup against a Twins team that has struck out at the fourth-highest rate against (24.7%) right-handed pitching this season. They have been a slightly above-average offense against righties (104 wRC+), but the pitcher-friendly Citi Field should aid McLean in getting deep into the game.
Kris Bubic OVER 6.5 strikeouts (+108 DraftKings)
Royals lefty Kris Bubic is coming off a rough outing against Detroit in which he allowed five runs across 4.2 innings. His ERA now stands at 3.97 through four starts this season.
Despite uneven results early this season, Bubic has been missing bats at a high clip. His strikeout rate sits at a near-elite 29.2%, and his change-up, sweeper, and slider have all registered elite whiff rates thus far.
He is walking a few too many batters (11.2% BB rate), but everything else under the hood looks like the elite pitcher he was before the injury last season.
Tonight's matchup against the Orioles sets Bubic up to get back on track, as Baltimore has struck out at the second-highest rate in the league against lefties this season. He topped 6.5 strikeouts in each of his two starts before the outing in Detroit, and he's in a great spot to beat that line again.
