Who Should I Start for Fantasy Football Week 6? Jacory Croskey-Merritt, Quinshon Judkins, Matthew Golden, Mason Taylor, Tetairoa McMillan, TreVeyon Henderson, Elic Ayomanor, RJ Harvey, Travis Hunter

Jacory Croskey-Merritt, RB, Commanders

Washington Commanders offensive coordinator Kliff Kingsbury said that rookie running back Jacory Croskey-Merritt still has a "ways to go" with his play when the football isn't in his hands, according to John Keim of ESPN. "Pass protection, pass game, any sort of lead blocks. He has to keep working to become a complete back but since day one when he touches the ball he does good things with it," Kingsbury added. It's about par for the course with most young RBs in the NFL.

The 24-year-old displayed his upside in the Week 5 win over the Los Angeles Chargers, carrying the ball 14 times for a season-high 111 yards and two touchdowns, but he also lost a fumble. But will it be enough to get JCM out of a committee backfield approach in Washington that also includes Chris Rodriguez Jr. and Jeremy McNichols? Fantasy managers should be willing to find out with Croskey-Merritt in their starting lineups for a Monday night affair against the Chicago Bears to close out Week 7.

Mason Taylor, TE, Jets

New York Jets tight end Mason Taylor has quickly become a main part of the team's passing game, and the rookie tight end is worth a look in almost all fantasy formats due to the volume he has been getting. The second-round pick out of LSU has been the team's top pass-catching tight end all season, but he had just two catches on three targets in his first two games. Since then, though, he has 18 catches on 25 targets over three weeks for a total of 150 yards.

Taylor set career-highs with nine catches on 12 targets for 67 yards against the Cowboys in Week 5, pacing the team in catches and targets as the team tried to scramble back against Dallas. The 0-5 Jets have had to play from behind a lot this year, and they'll take on the Broncos in the morning game from London in Week 6. Taylor can definitely be a strong TE1 option for as long as he keeps getting so much volume.

TreVeyon Henderson, RB, Patriots

New England Patriots running back TreVeyon Henderson continues to make a push for more opportunities within the offense, but he hasn't seen much change in his fantasy value after five weeks of the NFL season. The Patriots continue to lean on Rhamondre Stevenson a little more than Henderson, even after the former lost three fumbles in three games. Stevenson touched the ball nine times on Sunday and was set up for two easy touchdowns despite averaging just two yards per carry.

On the other hand, Henderson had eight touches and averaged four yards per carry, but still played less than half of the offensive snaps. He'll need to carve out a much larger snap share or start getting involved as a primary target for Drake Maye in the passing game before he becomes a worthwhile fantasy starter. In the meantime, he should be stashed on the bench.

Matthew Golden, WR, Packers

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Matthew Golden has seen an incremental upward trajectory over the past several weeks for the Packers and for fantasy managers. Golden is coming off his best week yet, with a season-high six targets, plus five receptions for 58 yards. He's also starting to see the field regularly with route shares of 82 percent and 72 percent in his last two games. In addition, Golden's first-read target shares have increased substantially, going from three total first-read targets in the first two weeks of the season to nine in the next two contests.

Interestingly, Golden was used much more in the slot in Week 4, flipping his role with Dontayvion Wicks, who had been used in the slot more since Jayden Reed (clavicle, foot) was injured. That could prove to be a launching point to get Golden in more jet motion and use him in space for YAC opportunities. After the Packers' bye in Week 5, Green Bay hosts the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 6. With the continued upward climb of Golden, he's a big-time upside flex play for fantasy managers this week.

Travis Hunter, WR, Jaguars

Jacksonville Jaguars rookie wide receiver Travis Hunter could start to see more downfield opportunities after flashing big-play ability in Week 5's 31-28 win over the Kansas City Chiefs. The second-overall pick caught three passes for 64 yards, highlighted by a spectacular 44-yard jump-ball grab that showcased his elite athleticism and contested-catch skills. Plays like that offer a glimpse of what Hunter could become in Liam Coen's offense once his role expands.

However, through five weeks, Hunter has yet to make a consistent fantasy impact. He's caught 16 of 24 targets for 182 yards and remains without a touchdown in his young career. His limited usage caps his fantasy upside for now, as he ranks 76th among receivers in snap share (60.3%) and 71st in route participation (69.7%). While his two-way ability continues to draw attention, Hunter's offensive workload remains too limited for reliable fantasy production. He's best viewed as a stash in deeper leagues, with breakout potential later in the season if his offensive role grows.
