Week 6 DraftKings NFL DFS Picks - Main Slate (2025)

Drake Maye - Fantasy Football Rankings, Draft Sleepers, NFL Injury News

Jamie's DraftKings NFL DFS Week 6 picks, value plays, DFS sleepers for the main slate (2025). His top DK plays and value picks for daily fantasy football lineups.

It was another highly successful week in DFS, and I was able to get back into the Gold Medal position among the season-long rankers on FantasyPros. If you're looking to get a jump on the Thursday Night game, all of my rankings are currently updated for Week 6.

Now, to DFS. It looks like we have another week of Rico Dowdle, Rachaad White, and Michael Carter after Week 5 saw all of them succeed. All three have been priced up, but not to the starter role that they occupy. You'll want to consider all, and injuries around the league have also led to some VERY cheap players becoming relevant this week (and maybe beyond).

Be sure to jump into our RotoBaller Discord! We have so many different channels devoted to whatever you're playing in fantasy football. We also have lots of great NFL DFS articles and NFL DFS tools to help you win MORE this season! Good luck with your DraftKings DFS lineups -- let's dominate this Week 6 slate together!

DraftKings Quarterbacks - Week 6 DFS Picks

TOP PLAY

Drake Maye, NE @ NO ($5,900)

We're in an odd phase right now where DraftKings has been really slow to catch up on QB play, which has left some of the top overall options as some of the best values as well. This week, that's Maye, and I honestly think he may be a pool of one for me as my cash QB choice.

Maye is currently the QB7 in fantasy despite having almost no positive counting stats in New England's win against the Bills last Sunday. This week, they get an incredibly friendly draw against a Saints defense that has allowed the fifth-highest passer rating and the seventh-most FPPG to opposing QBs.

New England currently has the third-highest pass rate in the league, and Maye's ability to rush gives him an added floor before he even throws a pass. He should really be priced in the mid-6k range with some of the QBs there, so take this value and run with it.

VALUE PLAY

Trevor Lawrence, JAX vs SEA ($5,100)

If you're looking to save even more money at QB, Trevor Lawrence is barely over $5k and showed exactly the upside he has in Liam Coen's offense last week. Lawrence headed a comeback against the reigning AFC Champion Chiefs, and he did it through the air (72% completion percentage) and on the ground (10-54-2).

Lawrence is still a highly volatile option (his fantasy scores range from 8.8 to 27.8), but he gets to return home and take on a Seattle defense with definite chinks in the pass defense armor. The Seahawks recently allowed Baker Mayfield to torment them for 379 yards on an 88% completion percentage with two TD passes.

Other options - Justin Herbert, Daniel Jones, Bryce Young

DraftKings Running Backs - Week 6 DFS Picks

TOP PLAY

Christian McCaffrey, SF @ TB ($8,400)

We get a REAL decision this week, as both Jonathan Taylor and Christian McCaffrey are on the same slate and priced very similarly. I don't think you can go wrong with either, but on full PPR DraftKings, my vote if choosing goes to McCaffrey. Based on his receiving role, CMC would still be the RB7 on the season even if you took away every single one of his rushing stats.

McCaffrey has 52 targets through five weeks and has scored three receiving TDs already, which is just insane. He should continue to see a massive touch count with George Kittle on IR and Jauan Jennings and Ricky Pearsall both looking very iffy for Sunday. The Bucs stuff the run, but have allowed the third-most receptions to RBs. Lock and load.

VALUE PLAY

Rico Dowdle, CAR vs DAL ($5,800)

Mild horn-tooting incoming. A big reason I was able to jump back atop the season-long rankings competition was the fact that I ranked Rico Dowdle in the top 12 of RBs last week. His price has (predictably) jumped to almost $6k after his 200-yard day, but it's still not enough in this matchup.

Dowdle handled 23 of a possible 27 carries and also received four targets in the passing game. He averaged 9.0 YPC against Miami and now gets a revenge game against the Cowboys, who have allowed the most yards per play, along with the sixth-most FPPG to opposing RBs.

With Chuba Hubbard looking doubtful again, expect another healthy dose of Uncle Rico in a game that has the highest O/U on the main slate (49.5).

Other options - Josh Jacobs, Javonte Williams, Rachaad White

DraftKings Wide Receivers - Week 6 DFS Picks

TOP PLAY

Puka Nacua, LAR @ BAL ($8,700)

This is going to be an evergreen blurb in this article until DraftKings rightfully pushes Puka Nacua upwards into the $9,500 range. The Rams star is first in the league in targets, receptions, receiving yards, YAC, FPPG, and is second in Air Yards and Yards Per Route Run. He's on pace for a historic season and is more bankable than even Christian McCaffrey at this point.

The Rams will take on a reeling Ravens squad that is absolutely decimated by injury and has allowed 37+ points in four of their five games this season. The Rams have an implied team total of 26 points (which honestly seems light), and Baltimore has allowed the second-most FPPG to WRs. Make Puka the first name you click in cash, and honestly, I'm going to be overweight in GPP as well.

VALUE PLAY

Stefon Diggs, NE @ NO ($5,800)

Welcome back to relevance, Stefon Diggs! Two weeks after I told a subscriber that Diggs was "keepable, but meh" on his fantasy squad, Diggs has back-to-back 100-yard games on 19 targets. He's emerged from the rest of the WR room in New England and has surpassed Hunter Henry for the team lead in targets with 34.

Despite his success, Diggs is still a bit of a scary proposition for cash play since he's only running a shade over 56% of snaps. He's making the most of his snaps, though, as he's averaging 10.6 YPT from Maye's passes. Diggs' ideal use is as a stack partner (with Henry as well) with Maye, but his price is still cheap enough that he's cash viable for the more risk-averse.

Other options - Jaxon Smith-Njigba, George Pickens, Tetairoa McMillan, Chris Olave

DraftKings Tight Ends - Week 6 DFS Picks

TOP PLAY

Trey McBride, ARI @ IND ($5,500)

Trey McBride continues to ride along as the consensus TE1, and this week is no different, with Brock Bowers dealing with a knee injury basically the entire year. I'm often not a proponent of spending up for TE in cash, but McBride's volume makes him a major player in GPPs, and truthfully, he's so cheap for his skill set that he's cash viable as well.

McBride is once again doing what he does, which is produce massive volume and little TD fanfare. He's first among TEs in both target share and air yards share, and has run a route on 99.4% of dropbacks. Like last year, that's only parlayed itself into one TD this year, but the upside is there for GPPs in an expected high-scoring game against the Colts.

VALUE PLAY

Hunter Long, JAX vs SEA ($2,500)

I have very little data to use to promote Hunter Long, but a starting TE at the bare minimum price tag should immediately draw your attention. Want both McCaffrey AND Nacua in cash, and maybe at least one more stud? Hunter Long is your path, then. With Brenton Strange out for at least four games, Long should step into an almost every-down role.

For this price, you really only need a 3-40-0 game to pay it off, but there's upside here as well. Despite being a backup, Long has already scored two TDs this year on three RZ targets. The Seahawks have allowed the second-most receptions and the fifth-most FPPG to opposing TEs.

Other options - Jake Ferguson, Tyler Warren, Jake Tonges
