Fantasy Football Matchup Outlooks
Below are some fantasy football outlooks written by our NFL team here at RotoBaller, bringing you their fantasy football analysis and advice on which players to consider starting in Week 4:
Jauan Jennings, WR, San Francisco 49ers
Wide receiver Jauan Jennings (ankle, shoulder) of the San Francisco 49ers is expected to play in Week 4 against the Jacksonville Jaguars, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
But Jennings being active comes with a catch: he's also likely to be limited. The circumstances point to the possibility that Jennings could be a snap count for the game, obviously hampering his fantasy ceiling for this week.
Jennings is otherwise a strong WR3/Flex play with a great matchup, though his injuries will present the risk he plays fewer snaps than normal.
Chase Brown, RB, Cincinnati Bengals
Cincinnati Bengals running back Chase Brown is coming off a quality year. Unfortunately, that success didn't follow him into the 2025 campaign. Through the first three weeks, the 25-year-old has 47 attempts.
However, he's only amassed 93 yards for a miserable 2.0 yards per carry. With that said, Brown can't necessarily take all of the blame for his inefficiency, considering the entire offense has struggled. That was even the case when Joe Burrow (toe) was on the field. The Bengals suffered a blowout loss to the Vikings in Week 3 after starting the season with a 2-0 record, so the club will look to get on track versus the Denver Broncos on Monday night.
Without question, Brown has plenty of upside for managers in any format. Still, until things on the offensive side of the ball are sorted out, Brown's presence in fantasy lineups in Week 4 (and beyond) is not without risk.
George Pickens, WR, Dallas Cowboys
Dallas Cowboys wide receiver George Pickens is making a strong case to be Dallas's temporary No. 1 receiver with CeeDee Lamb (ankle) likely sidelined for weeks. He will continue his solid production against a tough Packers defense in Week 4.
Over the past two games, he's delivered identical stat lines--five catches for 68 yards and a touchdown each week--showing steady chemistry with quarterback Dak Prescott. According to the Cowboys' official site, both quarterback and receiver believe that connection can carry Pickens into a featured role, and his nine targets in Week 3 point to a workload ready to expand. Fantasy managers should note that his air yards and red-zone looks are trending upward, giving him both a safe floor and real scoring upside.
With defenses now forced to respect Jake Ferguson underneath, Pickens could benefit from single coverage on deeper routes. While tougher matchups may bring added attention his way, the opportunity is undeniable. Despite the tough matchup against Green Bay, he profiles as a strong WR2 (RotoBaller WR20) in Week 4, especially in PPR leagues where volume is king.

Jameson Williams, WR, Detroit Lions
Detroit Lions wide receiver Jameson Williams has struggled to be a consistent target-earner early in the 2025 season. Through his first three games, Williams ranks fourth on the Lions in targets (12) and has recorded eight catches for 171 yards and a touchdown.
The 24-year-old is leading the league in yards per reception (21.8) and remains an explosive big-play threat, but his lack of target volume makes him difficult for fantasy managers to trust. Williams and the Lions face a difficult matchup in Week 4 against the Cleveland Browns, who have allowed the fifth-fewest passing yards (521) in the NFL so far this year.
As such, it may be difficult for Lions quarterback Jared Goff to find Williams on the deep-ball targets that Williams is reliant on for fantasy production. In Week 4, Williams profiles as a boom/bust WR3/flex option for fantasy managers.
