Week 1 Waiver Wire Pickups - Zamir White, Andrei Iosivas, Josh Reynolds Fantasy Football Outlooks

Zamir White - Fantasy Football Rankings, Waiver Wire Pickups, NFL Injury News

Week 1 fantasy football waiver wire pickups for Zamir White, Andrei Iosivas, Josh Reynolds in 2025. Read their waiver wire outlooks for fantasy football.

Finding under-the-radar flex options can provide a significant boost to your fantasy team. Every season, a team's backup running back or No. 3 wide receiver eventually earns a starting role and provides stable fantasy production for most of the season.

In this piece, we will look at three players who could find themselves near the top of their depth chart in the near future and could hold significant value in deeper formats.

Are Zamir White, Andrei Iosivas, and Josh Reynolds worth adding off the waiver wire in Week 1? Here are the latest outlooks on each for fantasy football.

Be sure to check all of our fantasy football rankings for 2025:

Zamir White Week 1 Waiver Wire Pickups

Rostered in 5% of leagues

Prior to their Week 1 contest against the New England Patriots, the Raiders opted to list veteran running back Raheem Mostert as a healthy scratch. This is significant as it solidified Zamir White as the clear RB2 to superstar rookie Ashton Jeanty.

While Jeanty should continue to receive the lion's share of opportunities in Las Vegas, this could carve a path for White to operate as the clear handcuff if Jeanty were to miss time this season.

White averaged an impressive 15.2 PPR points over the final four weeks of the 2023 season and posted a stellar 15.2 PPR points per game. During this four-game stretch, he averaged a strong 99.3 rushing yards per game at an eye-catching 4.7 YPC. This excellent conclusion earned him the starting job to open the 2024 campaign.

However, White fell short in this role and was eventually shifted to a rotational piece in the Vegas backfield. During the first four games of 2024, White posted a much lower 3.1 YPC and ran the ball just 12.3 times per game.

Fantasy managers should continually monitor his usage during the first game of the season, as White could even hold low-end RB3 value in deeper formats if the Raiders opt to manage Jeanty's workload.

For most leagues, White will carry solid value as a pure handcuff in a run-heavy offense.

Andrei Iosivas Week 1 Waiver Wire Pickups

Rostered in 5% of leagues

Another sneaky waiver wire pickup is Andrei Iosivas of the Cincinnati Bengals. Iosivas was bumped up to the No. 3 post on the depth chart prior to their season opener against the Browns as the team opted to list Jermaine Burton as a healthy scratch. Burton has dealt with numerous off-the-field issues in his young career, and seeing him listed as inactive in the season opener is a telling sign.

As a result, fantasy managers should expect Iosivas to serve as the third wide receiver in a potent offense, behind Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins.

Last season, Iosivas was productive when given the targets. In the matches in which he saw the last four targets (nine games), Iosivas averaged 8.9 PPR points per game and found the back of the end zone five times.

In addition, Iosivas could find him on the field more than expected due to Higgins's injury history. Higgins has only been able to play in 12 games in each of the past two seasons, which could open a significant role for Iosivas if he were to miss time in 2025. While Iosivas will be tough to trust when both Higgins and Chase are on the field, if one were to miss time, which is quite common in this offense, Iosivas could carry sneaky flex value at times this season.

For now, he is worth adding in all deeper 12+ team, 3-WR formats.

Josh Reynolds Week 1 Waiver Wire Pickups

Rostered in 5% of leagues

The final player we will look at in this piece is Josh Reynolds. Reynolds is another wide receiver who benefited from a surprising healthy scratch prior to Week 1. Before their contest against the Steelers, the Jets surprisingly listed expected No. 2 WR, Allen Lazard, as a healthy scratch. This means that Reynolds will be running as the team's No. 2 wideout, opposite of star Garrett Wilson.

While Reynolds will be playing a run-first offense unlike Iosivas, he could still be worth targeting in deeper 14+ team leagues.

During the first three games of the 2024 season, Reynolds was a reliable part of the Denver offense, seeing 5.0 targets per game and averaging 9.5 PPR points per game. However, he then suffered a hand injury and was eventually released by the team.

Even though Reynolds may see his ceiling limited to the QB play of Justin Fields, he appears to be primed to have a starting role in the Jets offense. Managers who are looking for a potential high-floor flex option in deeper leagues should look to target Reynolds, as he should see a steady dose of targets every week, albeit with a lower ceiling.
