The New York Jets are among several NFL teams monitoring the trade market for potential wide receiver additions, sources told The Athletic's Dianna Russini. The San Francisco 49ers and Minnesota Vikings are also making calls around the league. The biggest splash at the receiver position before the start of the 2025 regular season would be a trade for disgruntled Washington Commanders wideout Terry McLaurin, who has been disappointed in the progress of contract-extension talks with the team this summer. The 29-year-old has been a hold-in at training camp as he seeks a new deal, but those around the league don't believe the Commanders will give in to his demands. The Jets would make a lot of sense, as they currently have Josh Reynolds as their WR2 behind Garrett Wilson. McLaurin has five straight seasons of 1,000 yards, but he's one of the more popular bust candidates in fantasy in 2025.--Keith Hernandez
