Seattle Seahawks running back George Holani finished Thursday's preseason opener with a team-high 61 rushing yards on seven carries and added 20 more yards on a catch out of the backfield. He had a 24-yard rushing touchdown for the Seahawks' first score of the night, and his longest play of the game. Holani was an undrafted free agent whom Seattle added before last season out of Boise State. Holani lost the battle for a roster spot to Kenny McIntosh last season, but he looked ready to claim a spot on this year's squad with a strong opener. Kenneth Walker and Zach Charbonnet will carry the load in the backfield, but Holani played ahead of rookie Damien Martinez and could earn his way into the running back rotation if injury strikes in Seattle.--Zach Thompson
