Jarren Duran Reportedly Staying Put at Trade Deadline
Jarren Duran before the July 31 deadline, according to Bob Nightengale of USA Today. There has been speculation about Duran changing teams by the deadline, though a deal seems more likely to come together during the offseason (if at all). While the 28-year-old hasn't matched his production from 2024, he has been an integral part of a Boston team that's in the thick of the AL playoff race. Duran went 3-for-4 with two triples, a double, two RBI, and a run scored in a 4-2 win over the Los Angeles Dodgers on Saturday. He's now 19-for-65 (.292) with three homers, 16 RBI, and 12 runs in 19 games this month. Overall, Duran has slashed .259/.326/.442 with nine HRs, 55 RBI, 58 runs, and 16 steals in 467 trips to the plate.
